Edwin Snowden's 100 years of experience is their unique selling point and their company slogan "We don't take our 100 years experience for granted - But you can!" is reiterated throughout the company with several employees with over 40 years experience.

For over a century Edwin Snowden & Co Limited have built up a reputation for boiler repairs and the fabrication of custom made storage tanks and pressure vessels.  More recently fabricated environmental vessels and hyperbaric chambers have expanded their product range along with additional boilerhouse services.

Founded in 1898 by Edwin Snowden the company began by producing steam jacketed pans, tar stills, riveted vessels and boiler repairs.

In 1934 the business was one of the first to invest in electric welding which allowed the company to take on larger projects.  As the work became more specialised the company began to engage more and more in highly-skilled apprenticed staff producing a growing reputation.  Staff with over 40 years services still remain working alongside young apprentices creating a multiskilled workforce.
