Swindon Project

The Swindon Multiple Sclerosis Society asked to have a specifically designed Hyperbaric Chamber built to help those with MS reduce symptoms and lead a more normal life.

The Hyperbaric Chamber was made from carbon steel with the doors weighing around three quarters of a tonne. The Hyperbaric Chamber is divided into two sections by an internal pressure seal dished end. It can hold up to 12 people, 6 in each of the two sections, and is wheelchair accessible.

The Hyperbaric Chamber was tested to strict European Pressure Directive (PED) regulations.
