Decompression Chambers and Hyperbaric Chambers
Divers Decompression Chambers and Hyperbaric Chambers are used for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
They are manufactured to PD5500 and quality standard ISO 9001:2008 and are CE marked and built in accordance with the European Pressure Directive (PED). Chambers are certified by Lloyds Register as ‘Pressure Vessels Safe for Human Occupancy’ (PVHO) and all are Lloyds Register ‘design appraised’ and ‘built under class survey’ PD5500 Cat 1 which describes its safe operational limits.
Decompression Chambers include entry lock, medi-lock, bunks and seats and are manufactured in diameters ranging from 1600mm to 2000mm.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy uses high levels of oxygen when inside a chamber at higher than atmospheric pressure and is now being used in the medical practice, particularly in USA, Japan, Russia, China and Europe. HBOT is used to treat carbon monoxide poisoning and aid in the healing of injuries and wounds of different types. It is being used increasingly in Neurological diseases such as stroke, head and spinal cord injuries and the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
